Join us for the weekend event of the season and a celebration of Virginia Vineyard Month!   We invite you to be part of an annual Virginia tradition at Philip Carter Winery – Virginia craft beverages, Pig Roast, & BBQ all set in the vineyard.
The Pig Roast is a very special Virginia tradition.  Dress to impress in your finest preppy style, whether it’s a Lilly Pulitzer dress or pastel bow tie, or other accessories and all-around essentials for a classy and preppy Pig Roast look.  The Pig Roast has become a Virginia tradition over the years, commonly associated with warm weather, dressing up, and daytime events in Virginia wine country.
Early bird tickets are discounted! Live music and yard games in the vineyard.  Tickets are available via shop.pcwinery.com and at the door while supplies last.  Purchase tickets early.  We look forward to having you!
Tickets Options:
Tasting Flight & Food Ticket Bundle: $22 per person in advance ($30 per person at the door)
Tasting Flight Only: $12 per person in advance ($15 at the event) and include a taste of 4 wines, 2 ciders, 1 mead, and a souvenir wine glass provided by Philip Carter Winery, Valley View Hard Cider, and Noble Hive Meadery.
BBQ Lunch Only: $10 per person in advance ($15 at the event) for Pulled Pork or Smoked Chicken Lunch with sides provided by local artisan restaurant, Orlean Market. Additional food offerings will be available for purchase from Orlean Market the day of.
Wine Club Members: Receive 2 free Tasting Flight Tickets per membership with reservation ahead of time. Must log in to get Club Tickets or email Wineclub@pcwinery.com for assistance.

Soup & Chilly Weekends

Weekends, January – March, Beginning Each Day at Noon Until We Run Out!

Each weekend will feature one soup and one chilly or stew made fresh by the local Orlean Market.

Soups & Chilly will include baguette slices for extra goodness.


January through March, stop into Philip Carter Winery on weekends and warm up with a bowl of soup or chili. Get a bowl of your choice and a piece of fresh bread for only $15. Additionally, get your first glass of select wine for only $5.

Lunches will be available to purchase starting at noon on Saturdays & Sundays, while supplies last each day. Due to the fresh nature of our prepared lunches, quantities are limited each day and are first-come, first-serve. Each day will feature a minimum of one vegetarian option.

($8 per child under 10 years old)
