Cupid does his best work in wine country. Come share an intimate evening with us with award-winning wine and a sumptuous four-course plated dinner. Reservations required. Must be aged 21+ to attend. Business Casual or Cocktail Attire respectfully requested.

First Course: Butternut Squash Soup paired with the 2020 Shirley Chardonnay

Second Course: Citrus Mixed Greens Salad with a House Made Vinaigrette paired with the 2020 Sabine Hall Viognier

Main Course: Braised Shortribs OR Mushroom Ragu (Vegetarian) paired with the 2019 Cleve

14th Annual Winemaker’s Crab Feast

Join the annual celebration of the harvest at Philip Carter Winery with a Tidewater Virginia tradition of steamed Chesapeake Blue Crabs, Hush Puppies, Corn Fritters, and more. We are proud to team up with the finest purveyor of Virginia seafood, Blue Ridge Seafood, for our 14th annual Philip Carter CrabFest!

Come out on Saturday, September 11th for an all you can eat CRAB extravaganza! Reservations Required.

The Menu

For the second in our “Winemaker’s Pairing Series, Shane and Tony have decided to highlight the great grape varieties of Virginia. Nowhere else in the world is there such a diverse range of grape varieties that thrive as in Virginia. The wines for this event include both Vinifera varieties and hybrids. Shane incorporated local and seasonal ingredients to further highlight the bounty that is Virginia agriculture.
