Our flagship wine is back, but only for a limited time! Experience this classic Tannat and Petit Verdot blend named for the historical estate of Charles Carter, one of the first recognized winemakers of Virginia.
The Tannat brings a rusticity typical of the grape varietal and a strong structure, the Petit Verdot its velvety characteristics.
Very complex in the nose, jammy notes mix perfectly with the delicate oak extraction from the barrel aging.
Its medium structure makes it very approachable and a great pairing wine; from barbecue to cheeses, and of course a Virginian grass-fed beef steak.
