June 29^th (Sat.) – Wine Release – 2012 Nomini Hall Cabernet Franc - Join us as we share our newly released Cabernet Franc wine…an absolute PCW favorite!  Named in honor of the estate of Robert Carter III, the First Emancipator (1728-1804).  The ‘12 Cab Franc is a lighter style red that is easy to drink for the novice wine consumer, but just bold enough to please the palate of an experienced wine drinker. The wine is overall very balanced, not too tannic or acidic.  It smells of violet, lavender, sweet cherries and raspberry. The wine has a light to medium body and a clean finish. The ‘12 Cab Franc is a good summer time red wine that can be enjoyed on a hot day. This wine pairs nicely with pulled pork BBQ and corn on the cob.
